11 May 21 UTC	I needed Holland in theory. I hesitated to attack Italy because Rome was not warranted. If you had move back in Autumn, there was a way for you to the solo with the support of Italy.

11 May 21 UTC	I didn't open the door. ;-) If you check Autumn '49 map I would have had to gamble the stalemate to secure Holland. I didn't expect Germany would disband Hanover and Weimar. That changed the plan.
11 May 21 UTC	I was referring to Spring ‘50. I expected you to just support Germany holding there, a tenable stalemate position. I thought I’d need to withdraw in order to convince you to finish off Germany, like I did in Rome. But I guess unpredictability/unreliability from New Germany dictated that decision.
11 May 21 UTC	I keep trying to look back in hindsight to see if there was something different I could’ve done to save Iceland. I think A46 was the big turn where you outguessed me. I expected Scapa-Icelandic Sea. Even at that point I don’t think there was a perfect solution to guarantee I kept Iceland, even if I was willing to risk losing Skagerrak. And at the time, I thought that even by keeping Iceland, I’d still just end up at 44 (because I wasn’t counting on getting Holland). England being a pain in the MidEast ultimately saved you, otherwise I could’ve gotten to one or two more dots in the Med Theater before you set up shop there. Too bad he didn’t get any reward for that strategic sacrifice.

11 May 21 UTC	I expected more from England. I went to Sahara (Libya) only to support him in Cairo but he moved instead of holding. And if he had kept his fleet in Red Sea instead of an army in Suez, it would have treathened 3 centers indefinitely given I didn't intend to take Northern Ireland. And I was a little bit angry after he took Algiers and later supported Italy (even if it failed). I could have supported Holland. You are right. Regarding Iceland, you could have kept it but you needed to guess right with 50 % at each season... That said, that was very pleasant to play with all of you! Many time orders were processed before the end. That was a fast and good game.
