17 Apr 21 UTC | Spring, 1901: I think you have the advantage, as I’ve never done this one before. |
17 Apr 21 UTC | Spring, 1901: Do you prefer to ready the moves to move to the next phase as soon as possible? |
17 Apr 21 UTC | Autumn, 1901: Hi. Good luck. I enjoy this variation |
17 Apr 21 UTC | Autumn, 1901: I will ready my moves, unless something comes up and I won’t have time |
17 Apr 21 UTC | Autumn, 1901: Sounds good, I am on CST so I may have times where something happens while I’m asleep, but I’ll try to keep up. |
17 Apr 21 UTC | Autumn, 1902: Is the total 18 to win still? |
17 Apr 21 UTC | Autumn, 1902: I like the handle Jon Snow. Have you read any of the books? The show was amazing of course. I mean the ending was a little bit of a let down, but not enough to ruin the show as a whole. I keep wondering if Martin will ever finish The Winds of Winter, and even if he does, then how will he finish the 7th book when it’s taken this long for the 6th. |
17 Apr 21 UTC | Autumn, 1903: Good lord did I already lose? |
17 Apr 21 UTC | Autumn, 1903: Wow, I see now - I looked at one of the other games. The opposition always extends themselves first, as you build a foundation while moving. Well, damn. That’s not looking too good for me. |
18 Apr 21 UTC | Autumn, 1903: Sorry I haven’t responded. It’s 18 to win. I haven’t read the books, I want to. But I also would like to read the entire story, and am not sure when the final two books will be finished. The show was really good, the ending was a disappointment.. but I still enjoyed it. |
18 Apr 21 UTC | Autumn, 1903: Yes, it doesn’t look good for you. Lol. I think you have to be aggressive, and push your armies as far as you can as fast as you can. It takes some getting used to. |
18 Apr 21 UTC | Spring, 1905: Yeah, 17 already - you’re good at this. I may do a rematch if you set these up frequently. The books are really good, I highly recommend them. There is enough extra sub stories and details left out of the series that it’s totally worth it. There’s a trilogy of books The Archer’s Tale by Bernard Cornwell that isn’t as long, that’s got the same kinda vibe, that is one of the better series of books I’ve ever read. |
18 Apr 21 UTC | Well played |
18 Apr 21 UTC | Good game. Well played. |
18 Apr 21 UTC | I’ll check out the Archer’s Tale. Thanks for the recommendation and the game. |
18 Apr 21 UTC | Let me know if you want to play again |
