13 Aug 21 UTC | Congrats all for getting together to thwart me. Hoping to peel off the new Germany in the interest of narrowingt the draw, bit apparently wasn't going to happen. |

13 Aug 21 UTC | Gg everyone. Glad we were able to come together to hold back Japan. |
13 Aug 21 UTC | I think if: A) I didn't miss a move entirely earlier in the game, and B) Sprung an attack on East Indian sooner, I might have been able to dictate a different result. All-in-all, pleased with my result in this, my first ever go at this particular variant. I find Japan to have a natural advantage based on board position. Was hoping somebody might have turned on Britain. Italy made a very sudden change of course there down the stretch. A solo would have always been mostly a pipe dream, but a 4-way seemed achievable. |
13 Aug 21 UTC | I don't think I've ever seen Japan eliminated in this variant. They usually do very well, which you did. As soon as I saw you making too many gains in Asia, I immediately laid off Britain in hopes he would throw everything at you. |
