12 Sep 21 UTC Autumn, 1904: GameMaster: Someone has taken over France replacing "StraussF". Reconsider your alliances.
28 Sep 21 UTC Spring, 1910: GameMaster: India voted for a Draw. If everyone votes Draw the game will end and the points are split equally among all the surviving players, regardless of how many supply centers each player has.
13 Oct 21 UTC Spring, 1914: GameMaster: Someone has taken over India replacing "Bigbando". Reconsider your alliances.
23 Oct 21 UTC so Austria wins there if he just tripled into Persia instead of having cauacus support Sev-Mos for no reason, right? I don't know for sure how games are decided when more than one person hits the wincon at the same time
23 Oct 21 UTC Sorry for a crucial missed turn y'all.

Why didn't austria also get a win? same number of SCs as Japan. I am confused.
23 Oct 21 UTC Only one person wins even if multiple people hit the wincon, I'd seen that before. I just don't get how it's decided for sure.
23 Oct 21 UTC hmm maybe if they have the same number of SCs it is decided by # of units as a tiebreak?
23 Oct 21 UTC Could be. There is a past game where 2 countries hit 28 at the same time with 27 units each and only one of them won. https://vdiplomacy.com/board.php?gameID=12142#gamePanel

So there's gotta be another tiebreaker on top of that, at least.
23 Oct 21 UTC It does seem consistent in that the person with the most SCs does win in a tie.
23 Oct 21 UTC Interesting, I wonder if it has to do with the players expected result. Lower expectation in a tie of SCs and active units = victory
23 Oct 21 UTC Gg everyone, well played
23 Oct 21 UTC Gg everyone. Was almost kicking myself there at the end when I thought Germany would kick me from Ireland. Thought initially they wanted to eliminate England and then draw.

Was a bit scared because I technically was stalemated in the east. When I lost Tibet in 1915, had India focused on taking Nepal the next turn, I would've been blocked.

Ties are broken by whoever had the most SCs the previous turn, I believe. Even if Austria had gotten Persia it wouldn't have mattered. If you go check that tied game that was linked earlier and keep going back turns, you'll see that France reached 27 SCs first.
23 Oct 21 UTC tbh I had assumed at that point there was no way you/austria would take a draw because both of you had way too much of an opportunity to solo
23 Oct 21 UTC Gg
23 Oct 21 UTC First of all, GG everybody.
And specially to a good ally France
I just decided to move against you when i saw that Japan was going to SOLO
This was my 1st time in this map and i did not knew it was needed 28 SCs for SOLO
23 Oct 21 UTC But a doubt: why it was not at least a draw Japan / Austria
We both finished with 31 SCs
23 Oct 21 UTC The game always tries to find one winner.

Funny thing is that you'd have won if you stabbed France last year and were a bit cleaner on stabbing India.
24 Oct 21 UTC Why him and not me as winner?
And as I said, really did not knew it was needed 28SCs to SOLO.
BUT I would not betray France.
24 Oct 21 UTC Apparently it's decided based on who had more centers on turns prior
