04 Oct 21 UTC Spring, 1960: GameMaster: Please remember that negotiations before the game begins are not allowed.
04 Oct 21 UTC Spring, 1960: Info: This is a choose your country game.
04 Oct 21 UTC Spring, 1960: Good luck
06 Oct 21 UTC Autumn, 1962: Turns like these make my head hurt
07 Oct 21 UTC Autumn, 1962: Whose head will not hurt?
07 Oct 21 UTC Autumn, 1962: Damn. Overthought Egypt
09 Oct 21 UTC I must say, bravo for turning this one around. A true master class.
09 Oct 21 UTC A few boneheaded mistakes by me don't help things, of course. But I don't want that to take away from this achievement of winning when you were down by what, 3 at one point?
09 Oct 21 UTC That's the fun of this map...When having numbers of guesses, a turnover is possible if you're lucky :)
09 Oct 21 UTC While its always possible, I don't see how I do it from here. Congratulations.
09 Oct 21 UTC GameMaster: USSR voted for a Concede. If everyone (but one) votes concede the game will end and the player _not_ voting Concede will get all the points. Everybody else will get a defeat.
09 Oct 21 UTC Yeah, sometimes positions matters than points - Saigon fleet seems had nothing to do in the whole game...
GG.
09 Oct 21 UTC There were a number of moves that cost me the game. The first was not covering Istanbul in 62 (I had thought you'd go for Eastern Med in anticipation of me covering). But that gave you the Indian Ocean fleet that prevented Urals from helping out in Europe.

Second move that cost me the game was losing South China Sea. As you said, it tied down a whole lot of units.
