10 Jan 23 UTC Spring, 2151: GameMaster: Someone has taken over Amazonia replacing "Derebo". Reconsider your alliances.
10 Jan 23 UTC Spring, 2151: Sorry about that. The previous leader of Amazonia has suffered a slight, ahem, training accident but all is well again in Amazonia now.
10 Jan 23 UTC Spring, 2151: Sorry about that. The previous leader of Amazonia has suffered a slight, ahem, training accident but all is well again in Amazonia now.
13 Jan 23 UTC Autumn, 2151: GameMaster: Arkadia voted for a Draw. If everyone votes Draw the game will end and the points are split equally among all the surviving players, regardless of how many supply centers each player has.
26 Jan 23 UTC Spring, 2154: GameMaster: Cydonia voted for a Draw. If everyone votes Draw the game will end and the points are split equally among all the surviving players, regardless of how many supply centers each player has.
26 Jan 23 UTC Spring, 2154: GameMaster: Cydonia voted for a Concede. If everyone (but one) votes concede the game will end and the player _not_ voting Concede will get all the points. Everybody else will get a defeat.
27 Jan 23 UTC Spring, 2154: > Autumn, 2153: Cydonia: Ok, I've come to the conclusion that I really don't like this map. I hesitate to even check in because I don't like to waste so much time trying to decipher what's going on and what the possibilities are. It's just so poorly made, and so ugly on top of that.

>I'd also like it if you'd absorb my supply centers where you can so that I can get out of this game ASAP

This is the last message I received from Cydonia; they have subsequently muted me (and I have confirmed with at least one other player that they sent something broadly similar to them, with a similar muting).

If we have one person flat not playing it's going to distort the game somewhat - to the point I'm not sure if I'm interested in continuing. I'm putting in my draw vote; happy to call it now or wait to eliminate Cydonia first.
27 Jan 23 UTC Spring, 2154: I have to say that I agree with you. Its poor form indeed. He joined the game, and in doing so, made a commitment to the other players. Acting in this way totally distorts the game. It gives significant advantage to his neighbours and works against those further away. However, people often drop out of games and while it distorts them, this game is about adapting to change and unexpected decisions. This is just one more of those.
27 Jan 23 UTC Spring, 2154: I think it’s a bit more than the usual and got a similar response. However throwing himself into me before quitting is kind of game ruining…
27 Jan 23 UTC Spring, 2154: I suggest eliminating them and then drawing.
28 Jan 23 UTC Spring, 2154: Fair enough Mare, but he then kinda surrendered to you mainly, allowing you to gain more centres than you lost to a unified opposition.
28 Jan 23 UTC Autumn, 2154: That doesn’t exactly matter when I’m scattered everywhere dodging around units to pick up enough centers to stay on the board and everyone else is firmly established in my centers and also pushing into his.
28 Jan 23 UTC Autumn, 2154: Well that is not really a function of Cydonia's sudden departure so much as a function of your own diplomacy, isn't it? You honestly cannot say you have been disadvantaged by Cydonia's departure, in fact quite the opposite.
29 Jan 23 UTC Autumn, 2154: I would say that I am the only one that has had a disadvantage from Cydonia having gone mad
29 Jan 23 UTC Autumn, 2154: How so?
01 Feb 23 UTC Spring, 2155: Do you see the map right now? He has gone full in on me, probably because of the lack of possible defense, and I cannot gain any centre within reasonable reach without you banging on my door
01 Feb 23 UTC Spring, 2155: okay full is a strong word, but all his units are now facing my lands
01 Feb 23 UTC Spring, 2155: And you three just simply gained centres, and in the case of you, Amazonia, just have not felt any real influence I would say
01 Feb 23 UTC Spring, 2155: two* :)
01 Feb 23 UTC Spring, 2155: Well I agree that Cydonia's attitude has served Mareotia very well in that it has saved his bacon from Alb and me, and Alb himself has profited very nicely from Cydonia's walking away Its done nothing for me at all, except strengthen Mare, but I certainly can see that Cyd's last moves against you has hurt you.

VC in this game is 21 and Alb looks on track for that. It doesn't help that Mare is one of the poorer diplomats that I've encountered for some time.
