Well I was about to build a fleet in St.P so I don't think it was a complete stalemate yet.

You couldn't hold Lit and keep me out of Gulf of Bothnia. And once my fleet is there I could probably have taken Lit. It just would have been a guessing game between Lit and Krakow if you tried to use Warsaw to support Lit.
