21 Mar 23 UTC Autumn, 1908: GameMaster: Germany voted for a Draw. If everyone votes Draw the game will end and the points are split equally among all the surviving players, regardless of how many supply centers each player has.

10 Apr 23 UTC Well that was interesting. I thought I had that, for a while there...
10 Apr 23 UTC nice game all - I had a good start and then got swarmed, couldn't sustain it
10 Apr 23 UTC Mikey! Long time no see, great game.

Even though I’ve played this map before, I still completely forgot about the passage from Atl to Cairo until 1910. Personally I think that feature could be improved by adding an extra sea territory for the Red Sea - it feels a bit ridiculous that there’s only one space between Ireland and Egypt…

Mikey, you had me dead to rights in spring 1914 when you snuck that convoy into Naples and I made a blunder in Jab. If you’d supported Naples in autumn that would’ve been game over. Instead I managed to claw my way back - I even considered withdrawing my draw vote this year and hoping to take Trieste, but worried that Britain would attack me if I withdrew the vote.

All credit to Britain for stopping Turkey’s solo. Despite my multiple errors, I felt like we were really in sync over the last several years and you did a great job preventing Turkey from claiming crucial centers needed to win.

Great game, everyone! Except Austria, anyway… It’s extremely weak to give up and submit holds until you are eliminated. If you don’t want to play, at least have the decency to let someone take over your spot and make an honest effort at defending.
10 Apr 23 UTC Yeah I missed an opportunity there, and also could have played last turn better.

I also had no idea that fleets could hit my backline like that... that took me completely by surprise and there was no mention of it in the scenario briefing. Nuts that Ireland to Egypt can be done in the same time as Naples to Rome!

I also was concerned that Britain was so closely aligned... several of those moves looked suspiciously well coordinated when you were also one centre away from winning. I mean, why wouldn't Britain trim one of two centres from you as well as from me? I look forward to hearing him on that.
10 Apr 23 UTC gg all! Considering I started over there, it's embarrassing to admit that I also forgot about the Atl-Ind adjacency until France used it. It can be a real game changer!
10 Apr 23 UTC Our alliance was going so well that i didn't want to be the one to break it. I wouldn't have been happy with a withdrawal of the Draw vote, though, so good instincts on that, France.
10 Apr 23 UTC Agreed, Britain, our alliance was excellent. I would have been suspicious in Turkey’s shoes as well - at times, it felt like you were reading my mind! I intentionally left 4 centers open in the final year to help maintain my trustworthiness. I assumed Britain might take one of them this turn with the chance for me to take Trieste, but I’m glad the game ended before it came to that.
10 Apr 23 UTC it wasn't relevant to me, but gotta say I am not a fan of the Jab-ATL link, or at least not the way it is right now
10 Apr 23 UTC I dislike that it isn't mentioned at all in the scenario briefing, and that fact that I suddenly had to divert 2 seasons of builds to that front is why I lost impetus in my centre. I'll know next time if I play this map again.

Tough for Austria in the middle, but it almost always is...
