11 Aug 23 UTC Autumn, 1901: GameMaster: Game was extended due to at least 1 member failing to enter orders and having an excused missed turn available. This has un-readied all orders.
30 Aug 23 UTC Autumn, 1904: GameMaster: Someone has taken over Israel replacing "gethsemane". Reconsider your alliances.
01 Sep 23 UTC Autumn, 1904: GameMaster: Israel voted for a Draw. If everyone votes Draw the game will end and the points are split equally among all the surviving players, regardless of how many supply centers each player has.
08 Dec 23 UTC Great game, everyone!

Sicily, thank you for the stalwart alliance throughout. We made quick work of Burgundy and it was easy to trust each other given the how many territories the western Mediterranean is split into on this map. I would not have betrayed you if I didn’t see a clear path to a solo victory.

Hungary, thanks for being such an excellent wall for so many years holding back Poland while I battled with Ireland.

Ireland, well defended. However, if you had not been so aggressive in the beginning with your constant occupation of MAO, I might have moved against Sicily instead of you and this map would look very different. I thought about keeping you around longer and supporting you into Polish territories, but it was too difficult to execute strategies without communication, and I couldn’t leave Edinburgh open for a potential build behind my back line.

Ukraine, I wish you had focused more on defending Yal from Poland - you might have survived until the final hour if you had. That territory is the biggest design flaw of this map in my opinion, it’s impossible for any northern power to take it away from Ukraine, since no one can bring fleets into the Black Sea besides Turkey.

Israel, in my opinion it’s pretty silly to take over a position early in the game and immediately vote for a draw before any country has been eliminated.

Poland, great effort. I’m sure you were gnashing your teeth at Israel and Sicily for continuing to attack you even when it was clear that I was approaching critical mass. I lived in fear that they would make peace with you before I had a chance to get into a strong enough position to solo. That’s part of the reason I kept Hungary around so long, so that Sicily would at least wait until they were eliminated before pushing for a draw.

Thanks everyone for the game! See you in the next one.
08 Dec 23 UTC As the game had just started I thought I had a good chance of winning. when I found everyone against me I thought I could draw. when I realized the danger to the north it was already late. and yes, I hoped others would notice too
08 Dec 23 UTC congratulations to Spain
09 Dec 23 UTC Poland, when I entered the game as a replacement, you kept attacking me when you could gain nothing from me. So you absolutely produced the eastern border pressure by yourself.
09 Dec 23 UTC Spain, I know what you mean. It's my gamestyle to keep my draw vote always in as a replacement player. I can see how you reached 2800+ points by taking hundreds of replacements, but it's really not my style.
09 Dec 23 UTC Israel: The plan was to enter your territories to recover some troops. Plan failed. Afterwards I kept the pressure on because I expected retaliation
09 Dec 23 UTC So your aggression led to the final result
09 Dec 23 UTC I do not think
09 Dec 23 UTC Whatever you think. That's not important. You paid for your aggression.
