12 Mar 12 UTC | Spring, 2000: (Ghenkis Will ): essentially at the start of the game, an independent draws teams of 3 (and one 2) out of the hat and they HAVE to be allies for the duration of the game. Out of game team alliances can be made on a team or individual basis. |
12 Mar 12 UTC | Spring, 2000: (BBCCarol): However communiction might be hard between someone in Oxford and KEFW, or is pretty much everyone from KEFW! |

13 Mar 12 UTC | Spring, 2000: okay give me a second to draw the teams |
13 Mar 12 UTC | Spring, 2000: These were drawn at random. To make it fair on the team of two, they were placed near each other - again chosen at random. TEAM 1: USA, India, and Quebec TEAM 2: British Columbia, Ghana and South Africa TEAM 3: Russia, Near East and Kenya TEAM 4: Antarctica, Argentina and Pacific Russia TEAM 5: Brazil, Libya and Europe TEAM 6: China and Oz. |
13 Mar 12 UTC | Spring, 2000: Good luck to you all! |

13 Mar 12 UTC | Spring, 2000: you might want to re-explain the rules. |
13 Mar 12 UTC | Spring, 2000: Essentially each group of players forms a team. Their alliance is set for the duration of the game - it is thus indivisible that means no stabbing... You can form alliances as a team with other teams, or as a team with individuals, alternatively as an individual with other individuals and teams. However your team alliance is the primary alliance - you could not support a non-team ally into a team's centre etc. |
13 Mar 12 UTC | Spring, 2000: Instead of assisting someone else into a member of our own alliances, can we just turn a blind eye as our ally dies, and just latch onto that persons allience (this is a academical point, not something i intend to be doing, I just want to know how such a action would go down) |
