Im confused whats this supposted o be? Sounds fun even thow I don't get it but im in!

The start will be as soon as reasonably possible. The phase will be 36 hours, but finalizing as soon as possible. Buy in is negotiable. I'm willing to put as many points as people want.

Ok, currently we have the 8 above mentioned players. There have been a few questions that have been asked regarding the particulars for the game. I'll give the basics here:

1. Regarding points, there is no minimum or maximum. I expect that we will want to keep it down to a small amount so we can make sure everyone can get in, but we can certainly take recommendations from everyone.

2. Teams will be selected randomly. This is to be as fair as possible. Some have suggested that they want to work with people they know because they may not trust their partners, but the point of this game is to win with your partner, not go for a solo.

3. The map has yet to be selected, but so far we have eight players. I'd like to get at least 15 players so we can get into a known world map.

4. This is of my own consciousness. I am looking at creating a tourney that involves a series team games that would involve people choosing their own teams and sticking with that team for the duration for the tourney. I figure this will be a combination of small and large maps where teams will get to be both sides, but as I said, its still in the development phase and I certainly welcome ideas and people to help with its development.

I would like to get to 15 so we can do the Known world variant, but if we don't get any enough by 10pm EST we will go for any of the four 10 player maps. I'll be thinking about what countries will be grouped together, and then I will randomly select groups.

Ok folks, we are sitting at 10, with a replacement. Looking at our map options, I think we should do either Youngstown or Modern Dip II. (as much as I would love to see 2020, can anyone else tell me AWESOME!!)

Give me some ideas on what country's would make good teams in those maps. We'll see if our ideas match.

Western Europe: Denmark, Spain, France

Eastern Europe: Russia, Germany, Byzantium

Middle East: Arabia, Khazaria, Turan

Far East: China, India, Srivijaya

yes that is the idea. I will not select (randomly of course) the teams until all players on on the list.

Okay. Can the regions agree to be allies with another region?

you can do whatever you want with other teams, but understand that the point is to draw with only your team.
