Lol that's not true at all. We have a very strong player base. I'm not going to get into the politics of those banned from Webdip. I know many are here, I enjoyed playing with those I did and I wish them well, but in all genuine honesty, they represent a small fraction of the talent at webdip.

I don't know, Draug. Sarg was quite good but I wouldn't call him the best of the best.

Sarg and AgentK are the only exceptional players that have been banned as far as I recall.

I remember a time before the megalomaniac mods when WimpDip fielded 77 players in the leagues.

Sorry, tru, but unless a *mod* here tells me I'm wrong, you can ask and I can ignore. I'd love to participate having had a top 150 all time in classic when I was banned but I can't because, gee, they banned me for forum stuff rather than just lifetime silencing me.and, in the process, screwed up a number of games.

Whoahhh now, mapleleaf. I ran the Masters to the best of my abilities. They more or less ran smoothly.

I can't speak for the webdip mods, nor do I try. I have no idea what went on surrounding yours or anyone else's bannings for the most part. I'm glad vdip gave you an outlet to play with a great community.

If someone advertised their site on wimpdip and never played a game, they would be banned, yet you expect respect when you do it here? For those that want to join the tournament, we do welcome you. It's not an attempt to steal you away from a good solid community you have here, merely an offer to join a tournament of a different sort.

Mutes or not, does everyone else see the "if you want to join a REAL tournament" from truly condescending ninja? He claims to be so polite whilst disparaging a site he has never played a single game on it. He has been here "longer than [me]" yet hasn't contributed anything to the site or played a game. You could take it that way, or you could take it as an invitation to play a classic diplomacy tournament which vdip tends not to focus on. I think a little bit of benefit of the doubt would go down well here. Similarly, if one was being harsh one could take the view that your anger stems more from bitterness at webdip than any complaint against ninja.

Both of these negative viewpoints are unhelpful and backed up with little or no evidence, so lets not waste any more time on them.
