The game has finished with a four-way draw between Mercy (England), ingebot (Austria), BBQSauce123321 (Russia), and kevdog8 (France). Great game all! If I have the chance, I'll post some of the best press articles here for the enjoyment of everyone.

If there were to be a second game, I would potentially recommend changing the phases to 2 days instead of 3 because the game often moved exceptionally slow in my opinion, with very little press at times. Aside from that, it was a wonderful game filled with high level gameplay and I highly recommend a second version of this occurring with different players

I liked the 3-day phases. 2-day phases wouldn't have allowed enough time for crafting all the great press we got in the 1st half of the game (though may have worked in the 2nd half).

I would love to see a second game going, but from the perspective of a neutral bystander. Without a doubt the greatest classic game I've played in!

Considering I'm in Game 2's roster, I really want a second game. The first was just way too good!

I'll be in the second game if we do three-day phases- college schedule doesn't give me much time for a full-press game, so a three-day phase game would work best for me.

Maybe you guys should create another thread of this so that way people can see it again. I would love to see the newspaper game from an outside perspective

What do you mean by a translate game? Do you have to put your messages through google translate?

I suppose either:
1) you put all your messages in the language of your country.
2) after every turn, the country you control shifts to the right.

If you did the first one you would have to make England another language.

the rough idea is that you go from one language, to another and back again. However the software has gotten better so a better system would be to use English->Igbo->Irish->Kurdish->Gaelic->Yoruba->Gujarati->English and then post the outcome. So using this paragraph would result in:

As long as you go, there is a strong sense of travel from language to time. However, the best software for English is started. -> Yoruba-> Yoruba-> -Galbi-> Yoruba-> Gujarati-> Yoruba translation. Use the following paragraph:

I have a feeling this is going to be a fun game, so why not join before it's too late.

I heard of an example of English -> Russian -> English, where "the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak" became "the vodka is strong, but the meat is rancid". ;-)

Ah. I see. So these three sentences would be something like this:
"Here I have found that why three lovers will be:"

I skipped Gaelic; it wasn't available.

Just for fun, I ran it backwards through the process to see if I got the original phrase back. I didn't:
"Here, why I love love"

And, back again: "That is why I love you"

My previous post reads: "I am for my competition!"

Hang on this is recruitment for a grey-press, public-press only, fog of war game... But for sh*ts and giggles maybe we could throw the translation clause into the mix...
