Frankly we're a little offended that you attempted to multiaccount over at webdip first before coming back here. :P (I wonder if this counts as a cheating accusation in the forum, given that I'm accusing you have cheating on a different site, lol)

We're welcome to have you Draug, I think one of these days we need to create a game where only people who have been banned or silenced at webdip can join, it'd be a game full of wild characters and god knows, we have enough people on this site that match the description to fill a world game.

I looked for a simple sql injection for about an hour, but kestas has any incoming passwords and such pretty well checked and it isn't worth wasting time when there is a better home for diplomacy right here.

One thing I notice here, and it is a good thing, is there are no political or religious or just plain bothersome threads here. Even this thread is out of the ordinary and for that I apologize. I think I'll like hanging out here and actually playing diplomacy and talking diplomacy, not the rest.

I could make a free google or yahoo email and sign up at a starbucks or something then use an anonymous proxy for all my interactions with webdip. So yeah, I could as could anyone using those simple tools. The key is to disconnect completely with other players who you like cause the admins are borrowing a page from the NSA playbook and monitoring all the PMs of known associates of mine.

Well, nothing I have revealed is any secret. In case they plant some cookie tracker, also use in private browsing. But all this is common developer knowledge not unique to web dip.

And it isn't worth it. If I can't freely PM and game with my friends over there without risk, why bother. I've broken no rules and have a fresh start here. Most of my friends have come over here. So I'll make this my home.

Generally a fresh start one entails not actively discussing what made you require a clean slate anyway.

Freedom of speech is not universally accepted but I think this forum is safe in many number of ways... if anyone doesn't want to partake just don't read it.

I left weddip and id behind there, last year, as it was stale; variety of games, functionality development, to many NMR's and people...

I remember the days when webdiplomacy was a beacon of free speech, but then everything changed when the fire nation attacked... err. I mean when Krellin and Mapleleaf were silenced for trolling.

My apologies to Synapse for my post on the "other" site. You made the right call after all. The banning of faces was a bit much. I will finish my games and follow the rest of you to vdip.

Like I said, it could be done. But why? You couldn't communicate with your friends, so other than messing with the community and eventually getting rebanned, it would serve little or no purpose. And you'd end up pissing off Oli cause word would get back. So what is the point.

I've already told a couple folks in email that I wouldn't go back now even if they offered. I don't want to be there any more.
