14 Aug 17 UTC | Spring, 1666: (michael_b): Hey whats going on? |
14 Aug 17 UTC | Spring, 1666: (CCR): Michael B, I saw your map for an expanded WWII variant, and I think you have to many impassable areas, what only bring more stalematelines to the game. Pay attention on territories with to many or to few borders - they are key for stalematelines as well. As extreme example, a player with a single unit in Perth cannot be eliminated. Also note that a territory named Brasilia makes no sense in 1939, as this city was planned and built in the 60's. Sometimes the simpler the better, have you checkt the Zeus WWII variant? http://vdiplomacy.com/variants.php?variantID=70 |
14 Aug 17 UTC | Spring, 1666: (CCR): *"to" reads "too" |
14 Aug 17 UTC | Spring, 1666: (michael_b): I saw the Zeus variant. Thanks for the feedback. The map is VERY young and is subject to lost of change. I will change the Perth thing. Lol on Brasillia thanks! I have lots of people pointing to the impassables -> i will try to fix em. Any ideas on how are welcome! |

16 Aug 17 UTC | Spring, 1666: Good luck everyone. Btw if anyone is playing this map for the first time and has trouble wrapping their heads around the initial positions etc. (like me), I felt like looking at some earlier games is helpful, for instance http://vdiplomacy.net/board.php?gameID=27246#gamePanel |
