World Dipcon (Chapel Hill)

The World Dipcon tourney is approaching Memorial Day Weekend (May 20-22) and is being held in Chapel Hill, NC.
Housing is relatively inexpensive as is the entry fee.(Foreign travelers stay for free)
I am making my very first face to face tournament appearance and hope many here also make that jump as well. Do consider it and if you ARE going let us know!

WII recreation

Hi everyone. Since the variant exists, i want to make a team game of variantID=87 (GB,France, SU vs Germany and Italy). That obviously has one major weak point. it's three (21 SCs) against two (14 SCs), with a difference of seven SCs. Those are my thoughts on that so far:

Vdip March Madness?

Okay, anyone that's interested, just comment here. Ill plan on making a bracket and posting the link to the group here so anyone who wants to can join! I'm planning on hosting it on CBS as that seems to have the best functionality for March madness. I'll have scoring be 2-4-8-16-32-64 with bonus added seed in the first two rounds of the tourney. Just keep an eye out for when I post it :D

hahaha, me saying Harvard was simply mentioning a team that has no chance in the world. Me, Harvard? mwahahaha, Oswego State isn't even the Harvard of Central New York! But it is near Syracuse and I go to a game or two each year so Syracuse is who I will cheer on (but I didn't pick them, crappy rebounding and poor offense isn't going to get them far enough, yeah the Defense will keep them in most games and they can beat any team out there, just not continually as is required.

For people who hate Duke, imagine being from Houston and having to have endless childhood trauma flashbacks to The Pit every March before Laettner hit The Shot against Kentucky and gave them a new favorite highlight.

Grey Press - variantID=50

Anyone up for giving this a go? It's like the normal classic, with the ability to send anonymous messages in addition to normal ones. I was thinking it would be 1 day phase, Anon, and full press. I'm not bothered about buy-in.

Rules Question/ Possible Glitch?

Does anyone have an explanation for why Prussia didn't take Holland from France? RH moved to HOL with support from KIE. It seems that the support was cut, but I don't see any moves to KIE.

Spring 01 Gobble replacement

This game hasn't started yet, but France NMR'd for spring 01 so we need a replacement. Since this is gobble earth, France has territory all over the map. It'd be good to get a replacement and you won't start at any disadvantage.

Question About American Conflict Variant

Are the 'notionally held' SCs essentially normal neutral SCs? For example, if I'm England and I occupy Calgary, do I get a build? Can you build in notionally held SCs?
