I had 4 questions by PM which I'll answer here:
• Will there be an internet site that will show the current situation of the game ?
I'm using roll20.net for adjudication at the moment for which you'll get the link when you're in. I may figure out how to put each board on my website with ease, then I'll do that as well. You will definitely have a link to the roll20.net live map, though.
• How many players will there be ?
3 to 6 per game. There are 3 currently who are in the process of starting, so I'll either start a new game for other interested people or add players to that game, depending on what works best.
The first adjudication will be at least a week away, to give you an idea. This has to do with tests at school.
• Will there be a "phase length" in order to play our actions ?
Yes. It will be long enough. I'll discuss the length with the players and I'll see what works for me as well. In general, I'll adjudicate when everyone's ready, but a bit more structure is good to have of course.
I want the start to be especially slow to give people time to get accustomed to the rules and to give me time to get accustomed to adjudicate.
As a rule of thumb, I'll be avoiding NMRs.
• How long do you expect the game to last ?
At least several months, but I really don't know. It's one thing I plan to discover by testing. If you can put a few months in, I won't be pissed at you if you must drop out after that. Even if the game would never finish, it will be very useful for me to see whether everything goes as I thought it would.
Of course, I'll try hard to make sure the game keeps going unless everyone loses interest.
