Yeah, the curse of every tournament. It's been disappointing, but unfortunately it's part of the game more often than not. Unless you can get full agreement on cancellations, we just have to play through it. On another note, I'm assuming you are the Maucat I saw on the Italian site? I was playing a bit over there too (username Ritmo) but stopped because NMRs were even worse. Would be nice to find a solution. Shock collars, perhaps?

It looks like you just conducted a murder suicide of Britain, Dr Recommended. From experience I think the only realistic way for France to thrive in gunboat conditions is to establish a strong defense against Britain (without attempting to cross the Channel) while attacking Italy.

Looks like we're in the final stages in many of the games. They've been very hard-fought! As Maucat said a few posts back, NMRs have played an unfortunate role. This costs not only the player missing the turn, but everyone trying to win or prevent others from winning. I'd like to ask all of you to make every effort to avoid any further NMRs as we wind this down and stalemate lines are settled. While NMRs earlier have been an annoyance, at this point they could be catastrophic and entirely skew the results.
