I'm glad that someone made an EOG for this. The game was often silly at times. I had a lot of fun with it as I believe most of the participants did.

The one thing I disagreed with, was that people were saying the game was not a serious game. In my opinion, the game was more realistic than most. Troop actions were decided based on regional conflicts, perceived hegemony, and public policy initiatives. In essence, it's more like real life. Most diplomacy games would be more fun if the various military plots had just a bit more intrigue.

Oh well, I had a lot of fun and I'm organizing another one. Thanks to FD for putting the first one together. PM me if yr interested in joining for round 2.

I really liked the game and how it ended up playing out. Personally, I wasn't a fan of my personality (irrational lover/hater) because not much of anything had a purpose except for one phase. I'd do some action against someone and move all my troops there than have to give it up and move them towards someone else. But by the time I got to the second player, I'd have to move them again. I did enjoy the various plotlines that came up and I really liked trying to make up something interesting between countries. The whole idea of the TTM was awesome for joyrides and the such. Overall, I had way more fun in this game than any other games I've played because I knew I was competing on every level except performance of my country (i.e. best personality. storyline. etc.). Definitely interested in possibly other maps and for sure other games.

Correction, it's forming over here. There are a couple of organizers on Webdip helping with recruitment. We're bringing over a few senior players to help with the hijinks and hilarity.

To be clear, map will be: Youngstown - Redux. Game will be hosted on VDip. I will referee the first game, and whoever places last in this game will be asked to referre the next game so that I can play. Eight applications submitted, six accepted. Two dropped because analysis of the candidates games showed that they would get owned too easily. Four spots open. Message me if you'd like to play. Returning players will enjoy the same role as last time.

Believe it or not I still intend to run it, but we're short by ONLY ONE PLAYER. That's right, I have one spot open and I need someone to PM me. The last game was a lot of fun and I think ppl will enjoy the second game. I've recruited a few really good players.

Sorry for the delay - it's totally my fault. If we can't find another person by tomorrow I'm turning over administration of the game back to Fortress Door.

Last in what sense? First to be defeated or worst personality performance?

I would say first to be defeated. Doesn't that make more sense? I'd rather not be in a spot where I had to rate people's role playing skills. Doesn't seem very friendly and I think this was meant to be a bit of a relaxed game.
