Hi Stephanie, its not a case of me not being interested. In fact I'd dearly love someone in the VDip community to stand up, however it's php coding skills we need. I've edited basic php code previously for other variants, but Nuclear Diplomacy needs brand new code which I can't do. Oli has assisted in the past with this, but he's very stretched at the moment. We plan to test the concept first on a classic map, but this may not happen for a while yet due to competing demands. If someone wants to assist with developing the php code though I'd love them to step up :-)

For those interested I've begun the long slow road of organising in the Lab a concept Nuclear Diplomacy variant using the Classic map (think alternative history "what if" the European powers had cracked the atom in 1900?)

I plan to post updates on progress on a weekly basis to try to keep the ball rolling.

Again if ANYONE in the VDip community has some good php coding skills please let me or Oli know so we can fast track this variant's development (otherwise expect a long slog.)

My best guess is 3-6 months without someone with php skills assisting.

OK, thanks! I have absolutely 0 php skills but if you want to tech me I've got a lot of free time coming up :P That could be very ineffective of course but hey, I'd learn something too :P
