The proper etiquite is to post that you need a sitter and ask players to PM you. That way you preserve the anonymity of any of the games that you are in.

For a new player, could someone please take 20 seconds to explain the process for sitterhood? Either PM or here (there may be others that are new like me)

Post in this thread if you need a sitter, stating how many games and for how long the sitter is needed. Ask people who are interested to PM you.

To send a game to a sitter, you go to your Settings page (Settings button at the top right) then go to the 'Country Switch' tab, select the game you want to send in the dropdown box, and put the userID of the user you want to send it to in the 'Send to UserID' box (you can find their userID on their profile page).

Clicking submit will send them a request to take the game, which they can accept or decline. If they accept, they will take your position in the game.

When you return, you can take your games back by clicking the 'Claim back' button on the Country Switch page. This will take the sitter out of the game and put you back in.

That is a very cool process, and thank you very much for the quick reply. Kudos to the programmers/coders for this site. It is outstanding.
