A loyal knight of the King's court, Prince fasces was rushed to Edinburgh castle by the Kaiser Spartan's fastest horses, but the wound he suffered was too grave for physicians to save him. Who was the traitor?

Winter 1923 - Kaiser Spartan XXII in his relentless search for traitors in his realm has emerged victorious. Sultan Sandgoose was revealed to be a traitor, and his head is mounted on a pike in Constantinople for all to see. Sadly final victory game at the cost of Sir Jeremy of France, a noble a loyal knight, who gave his life for the glory of the king.

To my fellow traitorous, rebellion sons of bitches. I was close...so close. As the traitor, I thought I had my life secured once I set up a stalemate. I was SO close. But now, now the grave has been dug in syria. and I am going to set myself in there just for kicks.

On the bright side, I was able to get another knight to go down with me.

*high fives all around* even to that sacka shit that made my life miserable, mr. Jeremyk. Though, I don't know WHAT he possibly could have said to Germany to place that much faith in him. If it weren't for the good old smart Faces telling the german I set up a stalemate, I could have probably won this bitch of a game.

Oh well. tis life, and although germany was a royal stink chink ass hole. I think I played this one pretty good. *hats off ladies and gents* your traitor has left the building!

You can call me an asshole all you want Sandgoose, but the only thing all game that I regret is listening to fasces at the end to eliminate both of you at the same time.

Fasces wanted you to eliminate both of us BECAUSE you are the full definition of a hairy ass hole. Fasces already knew I was the traitor as soon as he was eliminated.

Trying to stay about the shit slinging for a second here, I have to say that Sandgoose went down in a blaze of glory as he managed to force the King to take out one of his loyal knights with him. That won't count for much, but he played the traitor role very well in this game. Furthermore as evidenced by the bitter tone of some of the comments in this match the 'King is Dead' angle seems to had an effective influence on the way the diplomacy played out across the board.

I think Spartan handled the situation in the end game rather ruthlessly, but then again, he's the King, and under no constraints to do otherwise. It was the knight job to convince him of their loyalty, and the traitor's job to masquerade as a knight while killing the king.

The randomly assigned positions in this game gave the king a great opportunity with England and France as his knights. All credit to Spartan for winning as the King, but this has been the best example of "traitor" play that we've seen so far.

And I suppose it also shows that, despite being killed at the end, the traitor can actually achieve quite a lot - and it is definitely a feasible role.
