Been reading "Sleepwalkers", a great book about the lead up to WW1.
The current chapter I'm reading is about the "jingoism" of newspapers within each of the great powers spurring on patriotism and antagonising foreign powers though the leaking of info from each countries foreign offices and misinformation campaigns to their own and foreign powers' newspapers.
It got me thinking about a Grey Press game where players as part of the gameplay are expected to only communicate by taking on the voice of any paper in London, Paris, Berlin, Vienna, Rome, St Petersburg and Istanbul.
As it's grey press you could publish under your own countries' name or any other players countries' name. I'm hoping this should create a fun, mischievous game.
I'd propose we play for only a small stake, say 10 or 20
and PPSC.
Open to whether we play on Classic board or Classic Fog.
Any interest?
