Well, it's not for me to say who is and is not a moderator, so it's not like I'm going to protest this. But now at least we can all openly admit that Guaroz is in fact a moderator. He's been one all along, but pretending that he was not. It's a lot easier to respect that when there's no double secret Boys from Brazil stuff going on.

I think it's great that both Guaroz and Jimbozig are moderators at the same time. I think both guys are passionate about the site, and that any potential differing viewpoints will wind up working well for us as a community. In fact the entire mod team seems very well composed, with differing personalities perspectives.

Congrats to all new Mods and a massive thank you as ever to Oli, the man who makes this site happen. I understand your dilemma my friend and think you're making the right decision.

And a big thank-you for Gavin (The Ambassador) who helped moderating the site very early on and stepped down as his free time did not allow for the commitment needed to moderate such a site.
(Oh, well I was so focused at writing who joined so I totally missed the people that left the team, sorry Gavin)

I was kidding. Obviously you're not going to protest someone being appointed mod. Now, if Guaroz was appointed to the "determine how Dip is supposed to be played committee", I imagine you'd have some words : D

And I have to agree, I think that the new mod team has some solid choices. Well-known players who have a variety of opinions should help keep this site's reputation positive as well as keep the player's happy. Well, as happy as any mods can keep people on the internet at least : D

And finally, a big thank you to those who have volunteered their time to help out this site, especially to Oli for creating such a fantastic place for us to explore wonderfully fun new variants. It's not a stretch for me to say that this website has had a fairly profound influence on my life. From meeting new people, to expanding my horizons on issues discussed, to building what was once an obscure game into a hobby I love, this site has done it all. And for that Oli, I say thank you! I hope one day you'll be able to join us again when time frees up and that you'll be able to enjoy this website for what it is: awesome. : )

Three cheers for Oli and the old team for all the hard work so far, as well as e new team for an even better future for this site!
