I am unsure as to how it all works. But if you all find a way to ensure the game is not effected. I have no issues in others watching the game and I am guessing (betting so to say on it). I have never been apart of a market type game, so I am lost to this style of play. My opinion, is at best, a very small part. Since I am unsure of the details of how it works. I will agree to allow it if all the veterans can come to a conclusion on the best way to go about this action. Hope that makes sense to all...lol. Love speaking about something I don't understand. Seems like I am lost even talking to myself and proof reading what I have wrote...lol

It doesn't have to be in this game; I just suggested it as Kaner suggested having a Known World game as the next Bourse, and I thought that it would be easier to use the WD Tourney game instead of finding a load more players.
I'd be happy to join a different Bourse Game as a player, as long as it starts after the 3rd.

I don't like the idea of changing the tournament structure while it's halfway over. Even if the Bourse would be handled in a way that wouldn't directly affect the game itself, it could still affect the players' behaviour. In a dire situation, I would definitely move unorthodoxly if I knew someone closely watched the game and their fortune would depend on me. It adds a spectator element to the game; instead of a closed session, we would be playing on packed Maracanã ;)

I'm also inclined to not have the Bourse. As myLAAN said, this could have an effect (however small) on peoples' behaviour. However, I would be totally OK with the next round being Boursed (if you choose to do so) as long as you don't ask before we start the next game. That is because we wouldn't know if it were being boursed or not and so play and behaviour would not be affected.

In other news, I'll (probably) start the Winner's round game tomorrow and PM the relevant players when I do. However, if you would like to postpone the game's commencement, post here or PM me. The second chance round can start whenever someone from that set volunteers to start it.

I would prefer to not have it "Boursed", as I would rather just have a less involved, more direct game.

That's fine guys, I have come to a similar conclusion, especially after reading the EoGs of the players in the original Bourse game, seeing how much they let the market actually influence their moves! I would prefer to bourse a game that has as little or no effect on the game in question. As such I have suggested that the next bourse game be either global-press only, or gunboat.

That said, everyone is more than welcome to join up - either as an investor of a player, when the game starts up.

I'll be setting up the game on the 6th at the earliest. But, I might start it a week later. I'm not sure. The second chance game just needs someone in it to start it. Once the other game gets going, I'll start trying to get that game going, but until then, I'll just recommend that someone start it.
