I'll join if we're playing a variant with less then 40 supply centers.

My biggest problem with the big maps is that I misorders a lot. Its very hard to be motivated to finalize in a game when you have 10+ units and 0 chance of winning, whenever I play a map with too many supply centers I find myself missing a lot of orders and my RR suffers as a result.

How many are on Modern (the 10 player). It's my preferred map for this.

I'll bite on any variant that's 10 or less and isn't gigantic like Fasces said. If you can't get 10 people then Abstraction III is a particularly fun variant, if I remember rightly.

I don't want more than 10 players either so no worries there.

Krell and I have one core rule. The global press is for being a-holes but nothing is taken outside the game and the game itself is very serious, so keep the trash to fun in global, not anger in the private press.

I've mostly been taking a break from games. I'm in one mod game over here that's been paused indefinitely, and one game on WebDip that will never end. Can't say I've started a new game since the fall.

I resigned from my post as moderator over here in January, so I wasn't stripped but retired.

Actually nevermind, JMO has made it clear in a post on webdip (explanation here: http://webdiplomacy.net/forum.php?viewthread=1164529#1164529).

Meh, I'm not in total agreement with Smeck on the issue, and I think JMO has completely taken what I said to Draugnar in a PM out of context.

I don't play games on webdiplomacy anymore, so the only thing I'm going to miss is the occasional nice political thread, but without Krellin or Draug or Synapse the enjoyment of reading said discussions: Krellin sometimes says something insighful and his libtard comments almost always make me laugh, I love Synapse's views and discussions on free speech, and Draug was one of the few rational conservatives on the sight (you we're one of them as well goldfinger, buy I haven't see you post there in at least a year).

Without them the quality of the webdip forum will surely go down.

about 5 times sine being banned now I've instinctively, when opening a new tab, typed in w+enter, subconsciously forgetting it would take me to a site I've been banned on.

Man that muscle memory is going to take a while to get out of my head. I had the same problem when I quit vdip back in January due to time constraints.
