#2. Team battle
This option would be for any map that has four or more players.

It would let you have the options to; have even teams or not make as many teams as you want for the map,and then it would let the players choose which team they could be on.

Example I make a game for 8 people I activated the even team option so it would be 4v4.

While in game the teams would have what synapse idea of a alliance chat. Basically everybody on your team could talk to each other in one chat.

Now around the endgame part if your team is victorious the game will ask you to continue. This means it wants to know if you want to go back to the old diplomacy game type (free for all)

If the majority says yes its activated. If no or nobody puts an answer it just ends the game

This would be another option for the creator or the players of the game.

if you would like to add music sound tracks while your playing the game you could.

It would be personal. Your opponent's or your teammates wouldn't hear your music.

You could have a sound track for all four phases ,the final victory and, even your defeat.

1 :I think I should use a space before the colon
2: No- the colon THEN the space is better
3:Actually, a colon with no space is best

I think the ideas do sound cool, actually. However, I think it might be difficult to implement. Then again, I don't know anything about programming.

I just want the game to be even more interesting and competitive.

Plus with the teams option you could have large scale tournaments.

Think of it like the Olympics of diplomacy

EFTBSTHGK1337, I would talk to Oli about it. It seems interesting, but hard to implicate into the Vdiplomacy system. Usually if you have new ideas the best place to inform the Mods/Admins is the Mod forum. I do like the idea, but as Windir said too "Just listen to your own music while playing," is perhaps a good idea as well. When I play diplomacy I usually am watching a movie.
