I know, I just started playing there again and I'm hard-pressed to make it through a full game without cd's and multis. I referred some of the more respectable players i played with to play a game here.

Its been interesting over at webdip. People have posted pornos which has created conflict between those who want the community to not post such content and the hardcore free speech activists.

I do feel sorry for jmo and the rest of the mod team for having to debate when is appropriate to use and not use the silencing tool.

Actually, I don't believe any *actual* porn has been posted over there. It came about when a mod whose initials and number will not be mentioned here made a claim that he wouldn't go to a link for fear it might be actual porn and was exascerbated by the decision to start silencing over fake links and now popular videos of well known rock and pop stars performing like Miley Cyrus' video for Wrecking Ball and Robin Thicke's video for Blurred Lines.

Or at least that is how I understand things went down.

In the initial thread (which was silenced by said mod for fear links might be porn). I'm pretty sure that a couple of links we're actually porn. I could be wrong though.

lol just a regular high school. I have to make sure nobody sees though, because one time i was looking at a map from one of my games, and was studying it very hard, thinking about what to do next. Well what i didn't realize was that everyone else was watching me just stare at a map... they were just a little freaked out :P

People thought I was smart because I spent my time looking at world war 1 maps, lol

Just realised webDip is classified as pornography by my school's filter. Almost crapped my pants when I realised; thought it was banned as a game site!

Haha, my school used to block vDip, but then General Cool sent them an email saying: "oh, this site is so educational, it teaches me strategy, communication skills, oh, it's the best thing on earth..." and they unblocked it :D He was my hero for that week.

To school networks: ours' website ends with .hu, the Hungarian domain. However, if you type the same address, but with .com, you are being redirected to a porn site which is not blocked (although as far as I know the policy requires all porn sites to be blocked). My theory is that the system administrator created this so that he could watch porn without being recognized.
